Lots of typos, statements of fact phrased as questions. Just not well proofread and/or edited. Lots of content from February 2018 70-347 exam not even remotely addressed in this book.I know this industry is a moving target, but this ebook was outdated and incomplete before it was even released.
Been through this book and the one before it (70-346), and going to take the 347 exam as soon as I complete the 346 exam. I studied both books one after together so I could get everything as a complete package, and because I actually manage a hybrid ex2010 / o365 environment so the info comes in handy. This book will provide you with a excellent foundation for the exam. The information in the book is laid out in a nice logical manner with plenty of screen shots. The author does a good job of explaining the material in a easy way. You should not have a problem following the book.That being said, before you take the exam you should have some hands on experience to help with the concepts and I always recommend some additional exam prep like exam practice exams to ensure that you have everything down. Write down and really know your powershell commands.
I used this book in pursuit of my MCSA: Office 365. I had previously used the same series for the 70-346 and successfully passed that. The book is great, but I read it twice . I watched The Ignite videos on the topic and watched through the Platform Scholar series as well. I also work in Exchange Online and with other O365 services everyday. It took me two attempts to pass. This is a very difficult exam due to the breadth of the topics covered. the book is good and brings up many of the powershell cmdlets you will need to learn and know their purpose. This book was a big part of me passing, but this alone will not be enough in my opinion. I do recommend it as part of your exam prep materials along with a practice test like those offered on Measure Up.
While it does has a lot of information there are some glaring errors in the information (one example that comes to mind is in one of the questions at the end of the section. Two answers are the same word for word but only one of them is correct according to the book) and in the presentation (sentences just end without making any sense). Not to mention the test has recently changed so this book is out of date (hard to keep a book about cloud technology in date really).If the book gets updated I would then give it 4 stars as I would hope the errors would also be corrected.
old references material. Useless. Waste of money. The Cloud is ever changing. Don't buy. Just Lab it out and Technet.
It is a very basic book and if you are experienced o365 customer it is not going to help . . As there is no reference book not avilable , i have bought for reference but i have to relay on Online rather than this book .
